”My first day at work, I was handed a computer and an airline ticket to Cape Verde. The second week we travelled with the company to Madrid.”

Rolanda started her consultant career at Nordicstation in April 2023. She had met Filippa while she studied for her second Master’s Degree in Lund. Filippa, who worked for Nordicstation thought that Rolandas background from working nine years at embassies and government authorities would be a perfect match for Nordicstation.

“Not one day is like the other”, says Rolanda, who is now in an assignment with IOM (International Organization for Migration). She travels a lot and since April, she has been working as a consultant in both Africa and in the western Balkan countries.

Rolanda was an exchange student in Sweden back in 2012 and is now living in Stockholm. “I was always talking about being Nordic”, says Rolanda. Her job at Nordicstation is her second Swedish job after working at a SaaS company when she first moved here.

“Nordicstation has a kindhearted and welcoming atmosphere, and I am excited to work as a consultant. The role is very broad, and I go with the flow”.
